Justin Persico, MD
Biography
Justin Persico, MD, specializes in medical oncology and hematology with a focus on gastrointestinal health, specifically gastrointestinal cancer genomics, colorectal cancer screening, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. He is the medical director of the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Centers at Trumbull and Fairfield.
Dr. Persico's research interests include immunotherapy, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and triple-negative breast cancer.
A recipient of the Medical School Housestaff Teaching Award, Dr. Persico is an assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine.
