Biography

Stephanie A. Massaro, MD, MPH, treats pediatric patients with leukemia and lymphoma.

One of her most memorable patients was a girl who suffered from acute megakaryoblastic leukemia, a rare form of the bone marrow cancer. “The little girl lost her brave battle, but in caring for her, I developed a strong interest in leukemia, continues to impact my clinical practice,” Dr. Massaro says.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Massaro is also a junior investigator at the Yale Stem Cell Center, and is working on several research projects related to megakaryoblastic leukemia.
