Biography
E. Kevin Hall, MD, director of the Yale Pediatric Heart Failure Program, specializes in treating pediatric heart failure and cardiomyopathies. “We are the only pediatric heart failure program in the state treating children with all forms of cardiomyopathies, muscular dystrophies, oncologic cardiomyopathy, and other forms of heart disease and failure,” he says.
Dr. Hall is an assistant professor of pediatrics (cardiology) at Yale School of Medicine. He also researches mobile health initiatives, and is the programmer and principal investigator behind the Yale Cardiomyopathy Index, one of the first research trials based on Apple’s ResearchKit, a software framework designed for medical and health research, and the first to enroll children.
