A lateral collateral ligament (LCL) Injury is a condition that occurs when the ligament on the outer side of the knee is stretched, partially torn, or completely torn due to direct impact, twisting, or hyperextension of the knee. This injury can result in pain, instability, and limited range of motion in the affected knee.
