Aneurysm

Definition

An aneurysm is a localized, abnormal bulging or dilation of a blood vessel, typically an artery, due to a weakened vessel wall. Aneurysms can occur in various parts of the body and may be asymptomatic or cause symptoms depending on their size and location. If an aneurysm ruptures, it can lead to life-threatening internal bleeding.
