Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Program
We offer bone marrow, peripheral blood stem cell, and cord blood transplants for a wide range of diseases, including cancer, blood disorders, immune system diseases, genetic diseases, and bone marrow failure syndromes.
Our highly trained medical team understands the application of research-based therapies, and cares for the unique needs of children undergoing bone marrow transplantation. In addition to physicians and nurse practitioners, our team includes a transplant coordinator, social worker, care coordinator, nutritionist, pharmacist, child life specialist, radiation oncologists, psychiatrist, and physical therapist.
Our Services
We offer:
- Autologous stem cell transplants using the child’s own cells
- Allogeneic transplants using HLA-matched sibling donors
- Allogeneic transplants from unrelated or partially matched related donors for children who do not have a matched sibling donor
- Cord blood transplants using the umbilical cord blood of a sibling or unrelated donor
