Real-Time Surveillance of E-Cigarette, or Vaping, Product-Use Associated Lung Injury (EVALI)

  • Study HIC#:2000027263
  • Last Updated:01/01/0001

The purpose of our research study is to advance our understanding of risk factors for acute illness among people who use vaping or smoking products. Participation in this study will involve surveys, analysis of e-liquids (if used), and analysis of blood and urine.  Research staff will collect some information about your demographics, personal history, and lab results to understand more about you and identify risk factors for health problems.  Research staff would also like to analyze a sample of any e-liquids recently used. You will receive up to $50 for taking part in this study: $20 for competition of the surveys and an additional $30 if you provide small samples of e-liquids that you recently used.
