Tilt-Table Test

The tilt-table test is a diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the cause of unexplained fainting (syncope) by monitoring the patient's blood pressure, heart rate, and symptoms while they are positioned at different angles on a table. The test helps determine if the fainting is due to a sudden drop in blood pressure or heart rate, indicating a condition called orthostatic hypotension or vasovagal syncope.
