Perioral Dermatitis

Perioral dermatitis is a skin condition characterized by the appearance of small, red, inflamed bumps or papules around the mouth, nose, and sometimes the eyes. It is often accompanied by mild itching or burning sensation. The exact cause of perioral dermatitis is unknown, but it may be associated with the use of topical corticosteroids, cosmetic products, or certain dental products.
