Endometriosis

Definition

Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the uterus, often affecting the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the tissue lining the pelvis. This can lead to pain, irregular bleeding, and sometimes fertility problems.
