Childhood Glaucoma
Definition
Childhood glaucoma, also known as pediatric or congenital glaucoma, is a rare eye condition characterized by increased pressure inside the eye, leading to optic nerve damage and potential vision loss. It can be present at birth or develop during early childhood and may result from genetic factors, developmental abnormalities, or other underlying medical conditions.
