Definition

Bladder cancer is a malignant growth of cells within the urinary bladder, the organ responsible for storing urine before it is excreted from the body. It typically originates in the cells lining the bladder and can be classified into different types based on cell type and aggressiveness. Risk factors include smoking, exposure to certain chemicals, and a history of chronic bladder inflammation.
